SDU Education

SDU Education has a broad task portfolio that includes:

• recruitment of students
• development of education programmes offered
• education law
• registration of examination results and course enrolment
• admission to undergraduate, graduate and further and continuing education programmes
• supporting the University’s programme quality system
• tasks in relation to international students
• special student-oriented counselling tasks
• development and management of student administration systems

We handle a number of tasks on behalf of the faculties, including those that require specialisation and provide economies of scale for the organisation. The student administration tasks related to education and research are located at the faculties, and we have a daily and close collaboration between faculties based on a task and process community.

SDU Education consists of four departments in Odense and one department at each of our campuses in Esbjerg, Kolding, Sønderborg/Flensburg and Slagelse.

SDU Education was previously called SDU Student Services.
