Instructions for access to electronic material

Students and employees at SDU and employees at OUH and hospitals in the Region of Southern Denmark have access to electronic material via University Library of Southern Denmark.

You will have to log in to access the material online both on campus and off campus.

Please note:

Access to electronic material at the University Library of Southern Denmark is  for personal use exclusively, and only in connection with research and study use. This means that you are not allowed to use the access in connection with a study job, work placement, commercial use etc.

Uploading content to large language models and other AI technologies is not allowed.

Your password is strictly personal and must never be given to anyone else.

All access traffic is logged by both the data provider and the library.

Misuse will result in disciplinary sanctions.

Other users have to be either at SDU or OUH in order to gain access to the material.

If you are connecting from campus or off campus, you will be asked to log in to access the material online:

  • SDU Students, SDU staff and Ph.D. students paid by SDU: To sign on, use your SDU email-address and password. Forgot your password: See https://password.sdu.dk

If you’re not registered as a borrower at the library, you can register here. Afterwards you must send an email to: e-tss@bib.sdu.dk or find your way to the library lending desk at your campus with documentation of your employment.

If your access fails or if it is several years since you last used it to borrow books, then please contact us by mail to: e-tss@bib.sdu.dk

  • OUH employees and the Region hospitals of Southern Denmark: Username and password is your Rsyd email and your associated password.
