We are delighted to welcoming librarians from around the world to our first International Staff Training Week at the University Library of Southern Denmark (Odense, Denmark).
The main aim of the week is to provide participating with a platform for the exchange of ideas, knowledge and best practices.
The International Library Week will offer great opportunities for networking, sharing knowledge and best practices within and across professional areas.
The program will include presentations, workshops, study visits, networking activities and cultural events.
The main focus themes of the week are:
- Information Literacy & Teaching
- E-Learning
- Citizen Science and role of the libraries
- Research Support Services
Participants will have the opportunity to contribute to the program with a short presentation of their home institution and sharing experiences. Topics include, but are not limited to:
- Challenges of research libraries in digital age
- Information Literacy
- Research Services
- Digitalization
- Internationalization
The working language will be English for all activities.
