The unit conducts clinical research in dermatology and genodermatoses as well as all types of allergies.
We have internationally recognized expertise in the areas of allergy in children and adults, mastocytosis, and hereditary angioedema, where the department has a national function for diagnosis and treatment.
Focus areas include skin cancer, immunological disorders of the skin, as well as qualitative projects on quality of life and coping strategies for patients and their families.
The unit is home to the Elite Research Center ORCA (Odense Research Center for Anaphylaxis).
