EU project on youth culture in rural areas is off to a good start
Partners from Denmark, Finland and the Netherlands gathered in Esbjerg to kick-start major EU project
Rural researcher Pia Heike Johansen is leading a large international EU project to develop and design a universal training programme for cultural workers in rural municipalities and rural cultural institutions in the EU.
The training programme will provide cultural workers with core competences to facilitate processes that can lead to the creation of a dynamic youth culture in rural areas.
Last week, the partners from Denmark, Finland and the Netherlands gathered for the first time in Esbjerg to get to know each other and kick-start the project.
We are looking forward to sharing the exciting results of the project.
