We are happy to welcome Ngu Wah Win in September 2024

Ngu Wah Win is a Research Fellow at the Knowledge Circle Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to inclusive development in Southeast Asia. Before joining KCF in 2022, she worked as a technical consultant for several multilateral organizations, bilateral aid agencies, and international NGOs. Her work focused on numerous reform initiatives in Myanmar, including public financial management, agricultural value chain development, and labor market and migration governance. She also served on the National Statistical Committee, the Agriculture Policy Unit, and various inter-ministerial task forces, conducting policy analysis and research until 2020. Ngu Wah Win holds a Master of Public Administration in Economic Policy Management from Columbia University, specializing in finance and banking, as well as degrees in economics and statistics from Chiang Mai University and Yangon University of Economics. She is currently a PhD candidate at the Faculty of Economics, Chiang Mai University, specializing in labor migration, remittance studies, and political economy.
