Write your future
Share your story
Write a short story that depicts a typical day in your life in the year 2025.
The short story can be about anything you like (such as a meeting, a conversation, or a trip) but should reflect how you imagine societal, technological, environmental or other changes will affect your daily life only a few years from today.
Requirements:
- Your short story must be of maximum 1,200 words (roughly 2 pages)
- Deadline: Send us your short story before May 3rd 2021 at noon.
We encourage all students (including PhD students) at SDU to participate and welcome short stories in both Danish and English.
The short stories will be evaluated based on their imaginative insights into how major societal trends might play out on the individual level.
All short stories will be published online at the Citizen Science website and will be publicly accessible as a part of the “Write Your Future” fiction collection.
Please note:
-
Short stories submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
-
All short stories will be anonymized before being assessed by the panel. Your identity will be known by the project administration.
