Non-optical imaging
Non-optical imaging methods are complementary to optical microscopy methods. Microscopy and spectroscopy methods using X-rays, electrons or ions enable higher spatial resolutions, complementary contrast measures or 3-dimensional structural and material information, depending on the application. This allows a comprehensive picture of biological or medical samples to be obtained in research but also in diagnostics.
