Safety culture within the fishing industry
CMHS starts intervention project among fishermen
CMHS has received a grant from The Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries of Denmark for the project 'Developing a proactive safety culture in the fishing industry – what does it take?'
The project will map the safety practices and address the safety culture of 20 vessels in the fishing community of Thyborøn, in collaboration with The Danish Fishermen´s Occupational Health Services and Grontmij. The project is lead by CMSS Senior Researcher Sisse Grøn and runs from April 1st 2013 till June 1st 2014.
