Doctor, Ph.D. Mike Bogetofte Barnkob receives an award for his research
Doctor, Ph.D. Mike Bogetofte Barnkob has been honored as the recipient of the 'Exceptional Young Scientist Award' at the Danish Cancer Research Days in Odense, organized by the Danish Comprehensive Cancer Center (DCCC).
Mike is receiving the award for his research titled: 'From bench to bedside: Developing novel and safe chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy to treat lymphoma patients.' This work was conducted during his postdoctoral research at CITCO at the Department of Clinical Immunology, OUH, and during a research stay at the Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology, University of Oxford.
