SDU Center for Large Structure Production (LSP) is an upcoming test centre located at the Port of Odense in Munkebo! Currently, our temporary facilities are located at Elektrikervejen 3+7, 5330 Munkebo, where we are eagerly working to create an innovative and advanced test environment.
Our vision extends into the future, and in 2025, our new facilities will still be located at Odense Harbour in a brand new building. This is thanks to a generous donation of DKK 90 million from the A.P. Møller Foundation. This significant support, as well as an EU co-financing of DKK 90 million for equipment purchases, will enable us to set up our advanced equipment and gantry system in a new test center.
Our future building is designed to be an epicentre for cutting-edge technology and innovation. It will be a place where experts, researchers and companies can come together to test and develop solutions for the future challenges of large structures. Our focus will be on advanced testing and development projects within the construction, energy and maritime sectors.
