To be a co-supervisor, you must be research-qualified within a similar or adjacent subject area. Co-supervisor can be at assistant professor level or higher.
As a co-supervisor, you assist the principal supervisor. Your assignments are agreed upon at the appointment, and will usually include academic discussions on selected parts of the research project.
