The Faculty of Engineering sends out regular graduate surveys to the faculty’s graduates. The questions are sent via the official public mail system (e-Boks). The surveys are common to all engineering programmes, and the details may vary from time to time. However, they always cover employment situations and job-searches adapted to the needs of the labour market and the relevance of the competence profile acquired in relation to the needs of the labour market. The results of the graduate surveys are discussed internally by the programme’s education committee, as well as at annual status reviews between programme, department and faculty management.
A satisfactory response rate is crucial for the validity and application of these surveys. The faculty therefore encourages former students to participate in these surveys.
