The Faculty of Engineering evaluates all teaching on the engineering programmes via:
- A short, quantitative evaluation (questionnaire). The purpose is to obtain an overall picture of the students’ experiences of the teaching and to focus on teaching situations where challenges are experienced. See the results of the qualitative evaluations here.
- A follow-up qualitative (oral) mid-term and final evaluation between each class and the relevant teacher. The purpose of this evaluation is partly to create a mutual matching of expectations, and partly to provide a basis for a developing dialogue.
The overall results of the faculty's teaching evaluations are discussed by the engineering programmes’ study boards and programme-specific education committees, as well as at the annual status review between programme and faculty management.
