High international standard
The PhD programmes in political science and in journalism offered by the Department of Political Science and Public Management are of the highest international standard. The department has a vibrant and challenging PhD environment with a mix of Danish and international students. PhD students are integrated in the daily life at the department and are expected to take part in the activities at the department.
The thesis is the most important single element of the programme, but PhD students are also required to teach courses either at the BA or MA level, to do course work, and to spend one semester at a foreign university. Over the past five years, the department has had a group of around 15 PhD students covering different areas of political science and journalism.
