Entrepreneurship

-

The Entrepreneurship Group explores entrepreneurial phenomena from business (organizational, marketing, economics, etc.), psychological, and sociological perspectives, using a variety of methods, including both qualitative and quantitative approaches.

With a three-decade history of entrepreneurship research and education, the Group was among the first in this field in Denmark. It is known worldwide for its rigorous and highly relevant research. The Group publishes regularly in top entrepreneurship journals and management journals.

While not exhaustive, the Group is investigating topics such as well-being, gender, underdog entrepreneurship and minorities, rural and social entrepreneurship, social networks, external crises, new venture growth, social media, design thinking, entrepreneurship policy, and sustainable entrepreneurship.

We are ambitious about our research being rigorous and impactful. Simultaneously, we are characterized by strong engagement with practice, practitioners, and policymakers. Often, our starting point for new research is motivated by practical challenges experienced by entrepreneurs or policymakers.
