-
The research group's core interest lies in innovation and organizational development within and/or across various organizational contexts, including the private, public, and non-profit sectors and civil society. The group emphasizes inter-organizational collaboration, co-creation, network development, institutional processes, and ecosystem interactions. Innovation is viewed broadly, encompassing product, service, process, organizational, and systemic innovation within and across different institutional and economic contexts.
Key areas of interest for the group include innovation systems, social innovation, business development, inter-organizational collaboration, cross-sector collaboration, public-private partnerships, stakeholder interaction, ecosystems, Living Labs, relationships and networks, movement building, facilitation, co-creation processes, design thinking, value creation, and communication.
The group seeks to advance both theoretical and practical knowledge by exploring diverse themes within inter-organizational literature and related fields. The group contributes to real-world applications through facilitated processes, stakeholder interactions, and collaborations.
At the heart of our mission, we are committed to addressing societal challenges. We support and foster transdisciplinary, cross-sector collaborations and partnerships between researchers, industry, the public sector, policymakers, and the broader community. Our goal is to advance knowledge and approaches related to digitalization, the green transition, and health challenges, with innovation as a guiding concept.
Researchers within the group employ various methods and paradigms in their inter-organizational research, working closely with external stakeholders to ensure practical relevance and impact, often through co-creative processes. As a result, the group is also interested in methodological innovation to enhance their work's impact and ethical integrity.
The research group is dedicated to improving research excellence and innovation. We achieve this by co-creating research from design through to implementation and dissemination. We actively share best practices, advance research processes, and foster connections within the local community, regional and national arenas, and relevant international contexts.
