By connecting research, education, and society, we create synergy and value in areas such as entrepreneurship, business-to-business relations, supply chain, resource and circular economy, marketing and consumer behavior, sports and events, digitalization and artificial intelligence, risk and resilience.
Research at an international level
The department's overall goal is to conduct research at an international level with publication in peer-reviewed journals. We focus on both strategic and applied research that complement each other, and we aim to create new knowledge that can help solve specific problems. Our research is anchored in four research groups and several centers that work together either within the same discipline or across disciplines.
Interdisciplinary collaboration
The department has a long tradition of problem-orientated collaboration across traditional research areas and with the surrounding society, including other researchers, private and public institutions, NGOs, governments, and companies - both nationally and internationally. This collaboration is manifested in several externally funded research projects.
Knowledge building and dissemination
The department is a pioneer in several research areas that do not have similar environments in Denmark. Therefore, there is a mutual need to create and disseminate new knowledge for the benefit of relevant stakeholders. As part of our research projects, we work strategically with dissemination to maximize the impact of our results.
