Project Management Team
Inspiring Innovation research at The Faculty of Engineering is anything but business as usual. The Project Management Team recognizes the administrative load related to developing viable project solutions to society’s challenges, and offer direction.
Our team of four Special Consultants share the focal point for optimal coordination, knowledge sharing and academic reporting on principal research project portfolios of externally funded National and International projects. Ensuring the overall collection of projects is aligned with SDU’s strategic goals and mission.
We offer dedicated support in planning and organizing the research projects lifecycle and its resources. Responsible for the administration of the faculty's various post-award support activities in safeguarding positive project outcomes, and best use of resources across institutions and administration.
The team can assistance in relation to the following tasks:
- Contract, cooperation agreements and amendments
- Scientific, management reporting with project deliverables
- Guidance to the project leads and partners
- Dissemination of project activities and results
- Organizing project Kick-off’s, workshops, conferences, steering committee meeting and similar events
- Research Unit Economic support
Research Unit
- Offering project portfolio management with administrative assistance to the head of unit – booking hours through TEK Innovation
- Up to date overview of the center's finances in TEK Manager and QlickView ensuring they correspond with the unit’s budgets and annual accounts
- Follow-up on the economy for the unit’s projects, and shuffling of project budgets tracking internal income
- Application position and expenses forecasting in TEK Manager
- Overview of teaching activities, Education (STADS) and income in TEK Manager
User Payment
Payment of the administrative fees is made by allotted administration funds for the approved project. The project principal investigator TEK can determine a tailor-made service that is required for the project. This can be written in the budget as administrative costs to TEK Innovation for example 1-4 months per year, or lead on an administrative or communication package or both. It is based on the individual needs of the researcher, thus reducing the administrative burden creating more time for research
