Profile
Our focus is on mechanical design of robots, kinematics of rigid bodies and aerodynamics of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Our goal is to develop small scale combustion engines to be used in UAVs to eliminate the need for heavy batteries. Moreover, we are developing new mechanical joints for the use in articulated robots, power suits and robotic arms.
Services
- CFD and CAE simulation
- Shape optimisation
- Small scale fabrication.
Labs and Equipment
Currently, we have access to the Abaqus super computer for simulation.
By end of 2019, we will have
- High speed tracking system for motion analysis of body parts
- Micro EDM for small scale fabrication.
