About the Library
The campus library handles the loan of books and journals from both its local collections and the other collections of the University Library of Southern Denmark as well as materials from other libraries at home and abroad. We are a public library and open to everyone.Collections: Design and Social Sciences
The library’s permanent collection of books and journals is primarily focused on serving students and researchers within the areas of design and the social sciences.
The library’s collection within business economics includes materials on business and finance, organisation and management, marketing, accounting, auditing, tax law, statistics and IT.
Within the field of design, the collection includes design theory, industrial design, graphic design, design management, architecture, and fashion.
Availability
Most of the library’s collection is directly accessible on open shelves so you can collect the books you want yourself. Please note that bibliographies, reference works, handbooks and certain journals are only for use in the library.
Facilities
The library has a quiet reading room with individual study spaces. The reading room is open 24/7, and is located on the third level above the library. You can access it via a staircase directly from the atrium.
There are library computers available for your online searches for materials, databases, journals etc.
The library has a self-service terminal where you can borrow or pick up materials as well as return them.
Outside the library there is access to multifunction-machines for printing and copying.
In the library students can borrow keys to the lockers for storage of personal belongings. The lockers are located on level 1 at entrance C .
