Technological and scientific advances push the boundaries of what is academically possible. Human DNA is now known and will revolutionise biochemistry and molecular biology. The next challenge will be to map the function of the genes.
The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at SDU has taken up this challenge and is, among other things, a world leader in the new research area of proteome analysis, which is used to map proteins in humans and other organisms.
The Master's degree programme in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology is offered only in Danish. Therefore, you must be able to prove Danish language proficiency in order to be admitted into the programme.
