During SDU International Summer School you will get a chance to experience Denmark and the Danish way of life. Danes are reportedly among the happiest in the world and perhaps a summer in Denmark will help you understand why.
Courses are offered at our Sønderborg campus, and the city of Sønderborg is a wonderful place to be in the summer. The SDU campus is right on the waterfront, the small and cosy city centre close by with all it has to offer of shops, cafees, restaurants, Sønderborg Castle, and you can walk to the beach in less than 10 minutes.
The majority of courses is offered on the main campus in Odense, a vibrant student city with many lovely green areas and a lot of cultural events – especially during the summer. You will be able to explore on your own and join the social and cultural activities organised as part of SDU International Summer School.
Centered in
the middle of Denmark, the island of Funen is an ideal gateway to the rest of
Denmark, if you wish to visit Copenhagen, the beautiful beaches at the west
coast of Jutland or other parts of the country.
We look forward to introducing you to our university, cities and country!
Before attending the summer school, why not visit some of the great music festivals and other cultural events in Odense and Sønderborg - or the rest of Denmark?
Odense is an old historic city with a vibrant, young student life, many educational institutions and a lot of cultural events and attractions.
