One condition is common to all people in all countries, at all times: Life doesn't last forever. But our bones persist (sometimes) and give our descendants a testimony of our lives and living conditions.
Studies of skeletons provide a basis for establishing theories about mortality factors from the end of the ice age to the modern world of today.
On the minor in Biological Anthropology, you will gain knowledge of bone identification, systematic data administration, epidemiological analysis and anthropological report writing.
You will learn to investigate, record and report skeletal findings. At the same time, you will get the necessary biological knowledge that allows you to analyse the correlations between lifestyles, diseases and mortality among our ancestors.
The Minor programme in Biological Anthropology is offered only in Danish. Therefore, you must be able to prove Danish language proficiency in order to be admitted into the programme.
