In Denmark, Citizen Science is often used for data collection and mapping of nature areas, but Citizen Science is more than that. In a world marked by fake news, alternative facts and declining respect for fact and professionally qualified experts, Citizen Science has become much more interesting.

SDU Citizen Science Knowledge Center
The Knowledge Centers overall goals are to bring citizens closer to science – and scientists closer to society, to broker knowledge sharing about Citizen Science – internally and externally and to to open the research process for all citizens across all levels of education and social groups through communication, education and learning. Odense University Hospital, SDU Climate Cluster, University Library of Southern Denmark and SDU RIO .
