The interdisciplinary PhD project must map possible reduction paths, identify options and barriers, and make recommendations for a better climate behaviour at the hospitals, so that the hospitals in this and other regions are capable of reducing both their resource consumption and the climate and environmental impact effectively.

A sociological/ anthropological view on patient-centered care
Concepts such as patient‐centered care, patient empowerment and patient participation have challenged the traditional understanding of what it means to be a patient and what role patients play in care pathways. Consequently, patientology is currently being reconceptualized through perspectives of health as individualized and privatized ‘capital’.

Workshop
A new cross-disciplinary network has been launched. Kristian Kidholm (CIMT/OUH) and Dorthe Brogård Kristensen (IVL/SDU) organized a workshop, where the participants in the new network – Health & Technology – presented their projects to each other, giving them the opportunity to examine the possibilities for interdisciplinary collaboration in the fields of health and social science.
