Postponement of deadlines
In light of initiatives to constrain the spread of the corona virus, which includes that most public servants have temporarily been sent home, the Independent Research Fund Denmark postpones the application deadline from 26 March 2020 (12 noon) to Thursday 2 April 2020 (12 noon).
In light of the prime minister’s statement on Wednesday 11 March 2020 about the implementation of new initiatives to constrain the spread of the corona virus, which includes that most public servants have temporarily been sent home, the Board of Independent Research Fund Denmark has decided to postpone the application deadline from 26 March 2020 (12 noon) to Thursday 2 April 2020 (12 noon).
The new deadline applies to the instruments Sapere Aude: DFF-Starting Grant, DFF-International Postdoctoral Grant, Non-university Research Education (PhD), Research Networks | Humanities, International Research Stays | Social Sciences, Pre-graduate Scholarships | Medical Sciences, and the Inge Lehmann-programme.
In accordance with the guidelines the employees of the Secretariat of Independent Research Fund Denmark have been sent home and have been asked to work from home.
Many of the tasks related to receiving and handling the applications will, as far as possible, be performed as usual, and applicants and grant holders can still contact the Secretariat via phone (+45 72 31 82 00, between 10am and 2pm) or e-mail (DFF-opslag@ufm.dk).
