Henrik Frederiksen has been appointed Clinical Professor in Haematology.

This professorship entails that Henrik Frederiksen will take on the role of research leader for the haematology field. The position has been established as a joint appointment between the Department of Clinical Research at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) and the Department of Haematology at Odense University Hospital (OUH).

Significant increase in the need for treatment of eye diseases

A greater number of elderly people means more cases of eye diseases requiring treatment. New research from the University of Southern Denmark (SDU) reveals that the need will increase by 50 percent in the coming years.
