Neuropathology Research Teams

The neuromuscular research team covers topics ranging from neuro-oncology and degenerative CNS diseases to disorders in skeletal muscle and peripheral nerves. The team have a long tradition for collaboration with our clinical partners, but we also generate projects primarily based in pathology and biology. Our aims are to improve diagnostic pathology and generate insight in the pathophysiology of the disorders in our field. Our focal point is the human tissue, but we also apply animal models and cultures of human cells to support our studies.

The team members each have particular fields of interest, but also collaborate on projects, thus sharing the development of the entire field and creating an inspiring milieu.
