The Historical Economics and Development Group (HEDG) will be hosting the 13th annual workshop on “Growth, History and Development”.

HEDG invites submissions for the 13th Annual Workshop. This year's theme is New Data Sources and Human Capital in the Long Run
The workshop is intended for graduate students, postdocs, and junior faculty members working in the area of long-run growth, economic history, and comparative development. Graduate students are particularly encouraged to apply and attend the workshop.
The workshop is a two-day event. There is a registration fee of 800 DKK. Refreshments, lunch, and a dinner is provided.

David de La Croix, Université catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain), CEPR.
Call for papers:
Prospective speakers should submit an extended abstract (max. 2000 words) that includes methodology and main results. This should be submitted to (SDUeconhist@sdu.dk).
Deadline for submissions: January 31st, 2024. Authors chosen to present will be notified by February 7th
